At approximately 6:00am you will be picked up from your hotel in Beijing where we start the journey to Jinshanling. To help start the day, and give you energy for your hike, we will provide you with a box breakfast on route (sandwich, water and some fruits). We will arrive at Jinshanling Great Wall around 11:00am where we will hike from Jinshanling Great Wall to the west section of Simatai Great wall. The hike is about 12km and takes about 4-5 hours. Located in the north of Miyun county, 120km northeast of Beijing, is the access to Gubeikou, a strategic pass in the eastern part of the Great Wall. This section of Great Wall is the only part which keeps the original features of the Ming dynasty Great Wall. Simatai Great Wall is 5.4km long with 35 beacon towers. Ingeniously conceived and uniquely designed, this section of Great Wall is inimitable and diversified and has incorporated the different characteristics of each section of the Great Wall. Simatai Great Wall is a famous scenic spot for exploration and inspection. You will arrive at the foot of Simatai at about 3:30pm. After lunch, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
This guided tour will take you to the Montmartre village, famous for its legendary bohemian style. You and the small group will walk off the beaten tracks through that mythical neighbourhood and taste traditional local products. The tour will start with the visit of a pastry-shop specialising in fine tarts on the Montmartre hill. Then, on the Lepic and Abbesses streets, you will visit a fishmonger's, a "charcutier's", a butcher's, a baker's and a greengrocer's. The tour will end n front of the Clos Montmartre winery which is the last reminder of the agricultural past of the area.
From Charles Bridge you will walk into the historical atmosphere of Lasser Quarter from where you will take a short picturesque tram ride to Prague Castle, the symbol of Czech culture and history. It has a life of its own, as it has withheld its grandeur throughout a turbulent history. It has shared the fortunes of the Czech Country, as a seat of the Czech rulers and now as a seat of the Presidents. During the whole of its existence Prague Castle has seen the rise and fall of generations. You will also see St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. Georges Basilica, the Royal Garden and other great sights.
An opportunity for those who have little time to follow the main events in Innsbruck's history and see as many highlights as possible. By taking this walking tour you will get a first impression about history, art and the city's main attractions, such as the old town, the Golden Roof, St.Jacobs Cathedral, Hofburg Palace and Hofkirche.
