This tour will depart from New York City along the Eastern Coast through Connecticut to Massachusetts and on to its capital Boston. Once in Boston it will begin with a walk along the Freedom Trail, then on to the Boston harbor the sight of the famous 'Tea Party', the navy ship the 'Constitution' and Bunkers Hill, where you will see the downtown financial district. You will break for lunch (not included) at the Quincy Market and enjoy the Boston Commons. After lunch you cross the Charles River to stroll in the squares of the universities of Cambridge, Harvard and MIT. In the late afternoon you will depart southwest for an evening arrival in New York.
Depart New-York south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving directly to the nations capital. We start with a visit to the Madam Tussauds where we stop for a photo with President Barack Obama and a visit to the Oval Office, then it is on to Capitol Hill. See the Capitol, Senate and White House to understand the core of the US government. Continue to the Air and Space Museum before visiting the Lincoln,Washington Korea and Vietnam Memorials. Late Afternoon embark on a panoramic city tour before we
depart north to New York for an early evening arrival.
Your American Gateway adventure is a 4 day extended tour with the itinerary as follows:
Day 1: Monday NEW-YORK, FINGER LAKES, NIAGARA-FALLS: Depart from the Big Apple heading north where tour will go to Watkins Glen State Park in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Walk through Watkins Glen Canyon to visit the beautiful waterfalls and then continue to Niagara Falls. Tour the American Side of the Falls including the American Falls, Goat Island and sister Island and enjoy later a night tour of Niagara Falls. Overnight: Niagara Falls. Day 2: Tuesday: NIAGARA-FALLS, NEW JERSEY: See the falls up close from the Horse shoe falls and, experience the power aboard the Maid of the Mist (May-October). Tour then to New York via outlet malls for shopping bargains. Overnight New Jersey. Day 3: Wednesday NEW JERSEY WASHINGTON DC: Continue south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving directly on Capitol Hill. Day 4: Thursday WASHINGTON DC , NEW YORK: Visit to Arlington National Cemetery the changing of the guards and the Kennedy family grave site. Next, visit the Mint and then we end our tour with a visit to one of the museums along the mall and then depart north to New York for an early evening arrival.
We depart New York and travel through New Jersey to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. Upon arrival we embark on a panoramic tour that includes Chinatown,Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Elsert Alley (The oldest inhabited street in America) and more. Arriving in the Historic area of Philadelphia we visit the famous Liberty Bell, Constitution Square and Constitution Hall, one of the symbols of freedom in America. Departing Philadelphia we stop at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and then continue to Lancaster country home of the Amish people.
After a break for lunch at the Amish marketplace we tour an Amish farmhouse and learn how they live without the benefit of modern technology, no electricity, running water, telephone service, or appliances.
In the late afternoon we depart east for an evening arrival in New York.
Enjoy this exciting tour to Niagara Falls by air. Be whisked away by car to JFK Airport for your flight to Buffalo, where upon arrival your guide will greet you. After a tour of Buffalo, visit the spectacular Niagara Falls. For a full scale view of the waterfalls, cross the Canadian border and board the Maid of the Mist for a close up of the crashing waters. After this adventure it will be time for lunch at one of the scenic spots on the banks of the Niagara Gorge, followed by free time for shopping or pictures. After your flight from Buffalo into JFK Airport, we will transfer you back to your hotel by car.
You will be met early in the morning by a Japanese speaking assistant for your transfer to the airport. Meeting point will be JET BLUE AIRWAYS TICKET COUNTER(Terminal number 5 at JFK Airport). After a short flight (from New York), you will be met by a Japanese speaking guide for a sightseeing tour of Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. you will visit to the Table Rock Observation(Photo stop) where you can have a look at the falls and you will also be able to see the falls from close up by taking a tour on Maid of the Mist (during off season this will be replaced by a visit to Journey Behind the Falls). After sightseeing and lunch,the coach will take you back to the airport for the return flight to New York.
The one day tour to Washington starts early in the morning when you will meet with a Japanese speaking assistant who will take you to Penn station where you will start your trip to Washington DC. Upon arrival in Washington you will be met by a Japanese-speaking guide to begin the sightseeing tour. You will see Arlington Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol, Washington Monument, The White House, Jefferson Memorial and One of the Smithsonian Museums. In the late afternoon you will be taken back to Union Station in Washington DC for your return trip to New York City. Tour ends upon arrival at New York's' Penn Station.
This full day tour starts early in the morning when you will meet with a Japanese speaking assistant who will take you to Penn station to head to Boston. Upon arrival in Boston you will be met by a Japanese-speaking guide to start a sightseeing tour of the city. During this tour you will see the Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill, MIT, Quincy Market, Harvard University, Trinity church, Boston Common, State House, Public Garden, In the late afternoon you will be taken back to the Back Bay station for your return trip to New York. You tour ends upon arrival at New York's Penn Station.
