Full Day Floating Market, Samphran and Rose Garden

First visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchburi province, 104 km west of Bangkok. Stop at a coconut farm before boarding a long tail boat to reach the market. Traders bring their fruit, vegetables and even cooked dishes to the market, exchanging goods between boats. Heading back towards Bangkok, stop at Samphran Elephant Ground. This zoo on nine hectares features elephant round ups and a crocodile show. Just nearby, we stop at the Rose Garden Resort, which includes a 24 hectare garden with over 20000 rose bushes and a reconstruction of a Thai village (where the 'villagers' actually live in) with displays of handicraft skills. A cultural show includes classic Thai dances, ethnic tribal dances, a Muay Thai (Thai kick-boxing) match and re enactments of various Thai religious ceremonies. Return to Bangkok, which is a further 32 km to the east. Thai lunch is included.

Wave Rock, York, Wildflowers & Aboriginal Culture

Heading east through the scenic Darling Ranges and enjoy morning tea (own expense) at York. Continue east to the town of Hyden and the major highlight of today - Wave Rock. You will visit Hippo's Yawn an unusual natural rock formation shaped like a yawning hippopotamus and join an Aboriginal cultural tour of Wave Rock. Walk around and on top of the rock as you hear of dreamtime stories and discover special Aboriginal sacred sites, including Gnamma Holes (water reservoirs) and learn about Aboriginal culture. Whilst here visit a Wildlife Park featuring Australian animals or alternatively view the unique Antique Lace Collection. Leaving Wave Rock, you head off to view other intriguing rock formations of the area including the Humps, a camel hump like granite rock and finally Mulka's Cave and learn about the ancient Aboriginal cave paintings before journey back into Perth. During the wildflower season (September to November) some of Western Australia's best wild flowers can be seen in this area and roadside stops will be made to view some of the spectacular native wild flowers.
