Sweeping views also include Ellis Island, the Manhattan Skyline, the fortifications of Governors Island and Battery Park at the mouth of the Hudson River. Rebuilt from original plans borrowed from the National Archives, the 160-foot Clipper City is the newest addition to the Manhattan skyline. A faithful replica of the clipper ships that plied America's waters more than a century ago, the Clipper City can accommodate 144 passengers and sails daily from Pier 17, South Street Seaport. Equipped with a full bar and a host of dining options (food and drinks not included except for summer special one free drink per person), this majestic schooner and its friendly crew provides a unique way to see the city and its harbor.
