This morning you travel through the picturesque coastal seaside towns of Christies Beach, Port Noarlunga and Moana, then through the McLaren Vale Wine region to the river port of Goolwa where the Murray River meets the lakes & sea. You will board the 'Spirit of the Coorong' for your cruise discovering the wildlife and beauty of this pristine wilderness environment. Lunch will be served on board at the mouth of the Murray River. Have the opportunity to walk on the vast sand dunes and beach at the mouth of Australia's largest river. You can also walk along a boardwalk over the dunes across the Younghusband Peninsula. Witness the vastness of the stunning Southern Ocean at the 90 mile beach. Enroute back to Adelaide you will travel through tiny settlements & historic homesteads and tour through the Mt Lofty Ranges dotted with small villages and spectacular views.
The tour starts with a view of the 2,000 years old Arena, the Roman Amphitheatre which used to host fights between gladiators and between men and beasts. We will then proceed with a walk along Via Mazzini, the main shopping street of Verona, and will reach the Borsari Gate, a 2,000 year-old entrance gate to the city. Passing along Corso Porta Borsari, we will reach a winery where the 'Elixir of Love' is sold...We will then reach Piazza Erbe, where the vegetable market is located, and Piazza dei Signori. The tour will end in the courtyard of the famous Juliet's House, to ensure you unforgettable memories of this romantic city.
Enter the Tijuca Rainforest on a open jeep where it is possible to see the contrast between the "Stone Jungle" and a tropical forest in the middle of a big city. Pass by the "Cachoeira dos Macacos" (Monkeys Waterfall). At "Vista Chinesa" (Chinese View) where you can take pictures, you will hear the history of the reforestation process of the forest and the importance of the "Mata Atlantica" (Atlantic Forest). You will also pass by the "Mesa do Imperador" (Emperor's Table), Cascatinha (Taunay's waterfall) and Capela Mayrink (Mayrink Chapel). Trek for approximately 1 hour through an easy trail, and have direct contact with the local nature ecosystem. During this tour you will be able to see different types of tropical fruits, trees, wildlife such as monkeys, various kind of birds and butterflies.
